Susie Kang

My name is Susie Kang and I am the proud owner of a State Farm Insurance Agency located at 1045 W Katella Ave, Suite 240, Orange, CA 92867. I earned the privilege of being a State Farm Agent and I say “earned” because State Farm Agency is not a business you can simply buy, it’s a business that has to be rightfully earned and requires a passion and a mission for helping others, a passion and a mission that was instilled in me by my family and my upbringing. I come from an immigrant family from South Korea. My parents had the opportunity to immigrate to the United States in the 80s for the “All-American Dream”, to provide a hope and a better future for myself and my brother. Growing up in Orange County in the 80s and 90s as an immigrant family from South Korea, we started our journey in the City of Orange, with the fragrant orange groves spread out everywhere we went, my parents each had two full time jobs while establishing a small business of their own, going to school to learn English and being actively involved in our local church, all at the same time while providing a loving, nurturing home for my brother and I. They provided an amazing work ethic, solid safety nest and protection, hope for the future, and mentorship that was a guiding light toward our dreams. Their nurturing guidance has made me who I am today and has instilled in me the same passion and a mission in being that guiding light to those around me by helping my customers and community manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams. I am lucky to be a part of a company with the same passion and a mission in providing in the financial protection, security, and growth of our customers’ lives. Prior to joining State Farm, I was in the Business Mergers and Acquisition industry as a Mergers & Acquisition Advisor for 17 years helping small business owners achieve their business and financial goals, and turn their dreams of financial security into reality. For many years I’ve been an active volunteer, mentoring and teaching youth groups at non-profit organizations, going on short-term mission trips, and taking part in efforts to feed the homeless and assist third world countries.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from California State University, Fullerton, and have completed advanced business and intercultural studies Master of Arts courses at Fuller Theological Seminary. Currently, I am in the process of receiving my Master of Arts Degree in Education at the University of Southern California. With my diverse educational background and extensive experience in finance and business, I'm well-equipped to provide all my Valued Customers with the highest level of service and expertise.
